About Jeff Johnson
Country Guitar Lessons was founded in November of 2009 by Jeff Johnson. Jeff is a country guitar player, an amateur fly fisherman that catches more weeds than fish, and a 12-credits shy of graduating college student.
Jeff has played guitar for a number of churches during his college years along with filling in for several bands before switching his focus to training others to play guitar.
“Teaching is a lot more fun,” he says, “and you don’t have to worry about the drummer throwing his sticks at you for missing a beat.”
With the creation of Country Guitar Lessons, Jeff seeks to bring his unique and engaging teaching methods to the online world.
“There’s simply nothing better than showing people the art of playing the guitar. It’s a skill that you remember for life and can pass down generation to generation.”
After finally making it through college in 6 years, Jeff can finally devote his full-blown (well, almost) attention to his passion: teaching the art of guitar to men and women of all ages.
His dream is to see every man, woman and child in the entire world with a guitar in hand singing in the streets. That would surely bring peace to all corners of the globe.
